Awareness Training

We provide Mental Health Awareness training and Peer Support Group training for professionals, practitioners and organisations who support people with hoarding disorder and hoarding-related behaviour in the community.

The Awareness training is to raise their level of insight and understanding about this disorder, beliefs and behaviour, barriers, assessment tools, current legislation and powers, the importance and benefits of intervention and collaborative working. The training is now also available via our online video conferencing platforms and webinars.

The Peer Support Group training is for organisations and individuals who are interested in setting up and running a community-based peer support group for people with hoarding disorder and hoarding-related behaviour. The Peer Support model should be co-designed and co-produced to eliminate any unconscious bias within the groups decision-making and development processes.

If you are an individual, small team or part of a wider network, the training will be tailor made to the type of services, you deliver within the community. If you would like to know more about our awareness training or peer support training.
